Chad is currently the Global Patent Coordinator for Frontal Airbags and the Lead Patent Engineer, Americas for Autoliv, the global leader for automotive passenger safety systems.  He holds a BSME University of Utah where he also played football – Go Utes!  He has a JD from Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason where he was an editor on law review.  He is a former USPTO Patent Examiner and worked as an extern for Hon. Randall R. Rader at the Federal Circuit.  Chad has over 20 years experience in IP protection, including patent prosecution, litigation, portfolio management, and client counselling both in house and as a former shareholder at Kirton McConkie.
