Matthew Shapiro is a seasoned trial lawyer in the intellectual property litigation group at Sheppard Mullin, with nearly 15 years of experience representing clients before major patent venues, including in the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He manages complex and multifaceted district court and ITC actions involving a variety of technologies, such as electronic devices, automotive components, and consumer products. Before practicing law, he worked as a computer and software engineer at Lockheed Martin, is a co-inventor on a U.S. patent, and graduated first in his class from the University of Connecticut’s School of Engineering with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
